Last Sunday (21st October) I accompanied a group of 5 American ladies to the Sierra of Aracena where we visited an Iberian pig farm and then a ham curing factory in Jabugo. We then went on to the town of Aracena where we had a fantastic lunch.
The first photo below shows a close up of part of a holm oak tree where you can see some acorns. In a month or so these should start falling on the ground to be consumed by hungry Iberina pigs.

The next photo shows hams finishing off their period of curing on the farm we visited

The last two photos show my group enjoying the food and drink that the wonderful Polonia prepared for us, including ham from pigs reared on the farm and a fantastic potato omelette.
