Yesterday, we left San Sebastian and made our first stop in Zarautz, a seaside town popular with surfers, where we had a very pleasant walk along the promenade.
It was then on to the nearby fishing port of Getaria for lunch at a great local restaurant, El Astillero. The main dish, a charcoal-grilled turbot, was the star of the meal; it was absolutely wonderful.
We then made our way to Bilbao and the sky clouded over and the temperature plummeted. That did not stop us having a great evening.
